Historical Tour (Upper City Tour)
The Historical Tour takes place at the vibrant old city of Pelourinho, a UNESCO heritage site since 1985. You will discover the key points of Salvador, walking through the cobbled streets, visiting churches, seeing craftwork, admiring the colourful colonial houses, and feeling the rhythm of drums from the unique Afro-Reggae music. Recommend a visit to the Saint Francis Church with its impressive gold-leafed Baroque interior, and the exuberant Cathedral at the Jesus Square. The tour heads to the Municipal Square, where you can enjoy a famous landmark of Salvador, the view from the Lower City and the All Saints Bay, by the Lacerda Elevator.
Panoramic Tour (Lower City Tour)
The Panoramic Tour will offer you another perspective of the city, discovering the lower city of Salvador and the neighbourhoods around the quiet waters of All Saints Bay. The first stop is the Barra Lighthouse area, where you enjoy the breeze and the spectacular view from the Bay. On the way to the lower city, you will pass around a natural lake, where there are sculptures of African Gods and a soccer stadium. Before you reach Senhor do Bomfim Church, one of the most famous churches in Brazil, you will stop by a famous sorveteria, ice cream parlour, where locals go to enjoy local flavours. Before you finish this tour we will see Mont Serrat Fort, with a stunning panoramic view of Salvador.
