Itinerary

1. Day 1: Salt Flat - Colchani

   • We leave to the Salt Flat in a 4×4 car. We will visit the Train Cemetery and the town of Colchani, located on the edge of the Salar, where salt is processed using traditional methods. 
   • We will continue our adventure until we reach the 80 km-away Incahuasi Island. From its summit, in the middle of a giant cactus, we can appreciate the fantastic extension of the sea of salt and the Tunupa volcano. We will have time to observe the landscape and take pictures.

2. Day 2: Laguna Honda - Laguna Colorada

   • We leave Salar to visit the high-altitude lagoons: Laguna Honda, Laguna Ramadita, and Laguna Hedionda. Each has incredible beauty.
   • We will also visit a different ecosystem: the Siloli Desert, one of the driest deserts in the world, where the popular Stone Tree is located. 
   • Finally, we will arrive at the Laguna Colorada, so called because of its reddish color, where the andean flamingos live. It will be a journey where the desert and the lagoons will provide us with peace and serenity, finding ourselves in the middle of nowhere.

3. Day 3: Laguna Verde - Uyuni - La Paz

   • Early in the morning, we will leave the Laguna Colorada to visit the geysers, where we will have the feeling of being on another planet. Then we will go to the thermal baths, where we will enjoy a relaxing bath surrounded by a beautiful landscape. 
   • Then, we will continue to Laguna Verde (green lagoon), the waters of which have a magical appearance. 
   • Afterwards, we will make a stop in the emblematic Dali Desert, which is so-called because of the interesting colors of its mountains that resemble the paintings of the master. 
   • Finally, we will return to the bus station of Uyuni to return to La Paz.
