Itinerary

1. Day 01: Pick up you at Merchior Ndadaye Airport

   • On the first day, you will meet with our professional Guide at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport, pick you up at the Hotel and gives you a prebriefing of the tour.

2. Day 02: City tour and Gishora drummer sanctuary

   • On the second day at 7:00 a.m., we will leave the hotel to visit the main attractions in Bujumbura city, including independence place, the former central market, Musée Vivant, Pierre de David Livingston et Henry Marton Stanley(the famous explores before colonisation in Africa). 
   • Then, we will return to the hotel at 5:30 to have our lunch; after that, we will drive to Gitega(the Political Capital) to entertain Burundian culture and spend one night there.

3. Day 03: Nyakazu faults and Mwishanga waterfalls

   • On the third day, at 6:00 a.m., we will wake up early to visit two attractions in Rutana province: Karera Faults and Mwishanga Falls. 
   • After that, we will continue our journey to Makamba for lunch before crossing the border to Tanzania.
   • We will cross the border in the afternoon to get to Kigoma, where we will spend the night.

4. Day 04: Hiking

   • On the fourth day, we will wake up at 5:30 to visit Ngombe National Park in Tanzania to explore the biodiversity hosted by that Park, including primates like monkeys, chimpanzees and different species of plants.

5. Day 05: Kigwena Natural Reserve

   • On the 5th day, we will wake up early in the morning to leave the hotel at 6:00 a.m. to come back to Burundi to visit Kigwena Natural Reserve, mainly to enjoy nature's beauty and interact with Burundi's local people. 
   • In the afternoon, we will take the road no3, which will bring us to Bujumbura to pass a night.

6. Day 06: Getting a break

   • On the sixth day, Exactly those five days may make us tired, that is why we need one day to break, but in the afternoon, we will go to Lake Tanganyika public beach to enjoy ourselves and say goodbye to Burundi before we take a flight to return to our home.
