Itinerary

1. Day 1: Pick-Up from Kigali International Airport

   • Upon arrival in Rwanda, you will be met by our professional guide at Kigali International Airport.
   • You will be transferred to a luxury hotel in Kigali, where you will receive a pre-brief about the tour.

2. Day 2: Game Drive at Akagera National Park

   • Early in the morning, you will depart from the hotel at 5:00 a.m. for a drive of approximately 3 hours to reach Akagera National Park.
   • Upon arrival at the park reception around 8:00 a.m., you will receive a briefing.
   • You will spend 6 hours exploring the park, seeking out the Big Five and other wildlife in the savanna. Enjoy sightings of various plant species, birds, and aquatic animals.
   • Afterwards, return to Kigali for an overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Mount Gorilla Trekking at Volcanoes National Park

   • You will depart from the hotel at 5:00 a.m. for a 2.5-hour drive to Volcanoes National Park.
   • Upon arrival, you will attend a briefing at 7:00 a.m.
   • Depending on their location, they spend around 3 hours trekking to find the gorillas and have one hour to observe, photograph, and study their behaviour in their natural habitat.
   • After the trek, head to a luxury lodge within the park for lunch and spend the night there.

4. Day 4: Transfer to Kigali and City Tour

   • After breakfast, you will leave the lodge at 9:00 a.m. for a 2.5-hour drive back to Kigali.
   • Enjoy lunch in Kigali and spend the afternoon on a city tour.
   • Check into another luxury hotel to rest and prepare for your flight home.
