Description
Embark on an 11-day East African Community tour starting in Entebbe and transfer to Buffalo Safari Lodge near Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy a game drive seeking the Big Five, then travel to Kigali, Rwanda, and explore Nyungwe National Park’s rainforest. Trek lowland gorillas in Kahuzi-Biega National Park, then head to Bujumbura, Burundi. Tour the city, visit Rusizi National Park, and explore the Southern Nile source and hot springs. Trek chimpanzees in Gombe National Park and end with cultural experiences in Burundi before departing from Bujumbura.
Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe International Airport to the Hotel
- Meet with our professional guide at Entebbe International Airport to pick you up.
- It will take 7 hours to drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
- Spend a night in Buffalo Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Wake up early in the morning to leave at 7:00 a.m. after having breakfast.
- Start a game drive to try the Big Five animals like Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, and Rhinoceros and spot other savanna wildlife from there.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali
- On the third day, we will wake up to have breakfast before leaving the hotel at 8:00 a.m.
- You will be transferred to Kigali, Rwanda, bypassing Uganda and Rwanda's borderland. The journey will take us 4 hours to reach for a nightstay in Kigali.

Day 4: Nature walk in Nyungwe National Park
- On the fourth day, we will wake up early and have breakfast or leave the hotel at 5:30 a.m. It takes almost 3 hours to reach Nyungwe National Park.
- Guide of National Park will take you to experience the panoramic view of the rainforest and some primates we will meet along the trail.

Day 5: Lowland Gorilla Trekking
- On the fifth day, we will continue to explore Africa with another country, the Democratic Republic of Congo, where we will go to visit the ancestors of human beings in Kahuzi-Biega National Park by lowland gorilla trekking.
- We will leave the hotel at 6:00 a.m. to try to cross the land border of Rwanda and DRC early.
- After our day activity, we will go back to spend a night in Bukavu.

Day 6: Transfer to Bujumbura
- As usual, wake up in the morning to have breakfast before leaving the hotel at 8 a.m. to start the journey towards Bujumbura. It will take almost 4 hours to cross the land border of DRC and Burundi.
- Continue to the hotel to prepare for the next day's experience.

Day 7: Bujumbura city tour and Rusizi National Park
- Wake up in the morning to have breakfast. We start our Bujumbura city tour from the hotel at 7:00 a.m. until 11hrs, then come back to the hotel to take lunch and leave again at 3:00 p.m.
- Visit different species of plants, animals, and birds hosted by Rusizi National Park until 5 p.m. Then, we will return to the hotel.

Day 8: Transfer to Rumonge Province
- We will wake up for breakfast and leave the hotel at 7:00 a.m. to drive for around 3 hours before we go sightseeing to explore the Southernmost source of Nil and Magera hot springs.
- After that exploration, we will continue to spend a night at the hotel near Burundi and Tanzania's border.

Day 9: Chimpanzee Trekking in Gombe National Park
- Continue to explore more countries of the East African Community.
- Now, we will wake up to leave the hotel at 7:00 a.m. to try to cross the land border of Burundi and Tanzania early.
- After crossing the border, we continue by car before we meet with Lake Tanganyika and take our private boat to Gombe National Park to explore and experience the scenic view of the Park and chimpanzee trekking.
- After that, we will go back to Kigoma to spend the night.

Day 10: Gishora Drummer Sanctuary and Karera waterfalls
- Wake up early to leave the hotel at 6 a.m. and return to Burundi by crossing the border of Burundi and Tanzania.
- Continue to Rutana province to visit the Karera and Mwishanga waterfalls and Nyakazu faults.
- Continue to Gitega in Gishora Drummer Sanctuary to throw all the tiredness and challenges we got during the tour by entertaining Burundi's drums and culture.

Day 11: Transfer to Bujumbura
- Wake up in the morning to have breakfast and leave the hotel at 8:00 a.m. Drive for almost 4 hours before reaching Bujumbura to buy some souvenirs and go straight to the hotel to take a short break and prepare for your flight tomorrow.
