Join this 2-day trip and take a short tour of Samokov combined with the Musala Peak, the highest of the Rila Mountains, situated in a basin between Rila and Vitosha's scenic mountains. Get to visit the highest lake in the Balkans - the Icy Lake (2709 m altitude).
Itinerary

Day 1: Drive to Samokov
Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location and drive to the town of Samokov.
Take a tour of Samokov with special attention to the Turkish historical artifacts found in the place.

Day 2: Borovets & Musala
Drive to Borovets, a ski resort.
Take a walking tour of the Musala hut and see the Icy Lake.
Make your way up to the Musala peak and return on foot to Borovets.
Depart for Sofia.
