Somme Highlights Tour
Begin the tour at 09:00 from Ypres, Lille or Arras. Pick-up is possible from your hotel.
Visit the following places with the tour guide:
Albert: the Museum Somme 1916, The Basilica of Albert and the Golden Madonna, the Lochnagar Crater.
Have lunch.
Thiepval: Thiepval Memorial, The Ulster Tower - Northern Ireland's National War Memorial.
Delville Wood, place of the first major engagement of the South African Infantry Brigade in July 1916.
The Newfoundland Memorial Park, a memorial site in France dedicated to the commemoration of the Dominion of Newfoundland, forces members killed during World War I.
Vimy Ridge: The Memorial and the tunnels, dedicated to the Battle of Vimy Ridge and the Canadian soldiers killed during the war. The Memorial is also the site of two Canadian cemeteries.
