Dhaka to Mongla via Bagerhat and Sixty Dome Mosque

  • After breakfast, set off on your journey to Bagerhat, crossing the impressive 6.2 km Padma Bridge, the longest bridge in Bangladesh.
  • Upon arrival, visit the Sixty Dome Mosque, a 600-year-old UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its historical significance and architectural brilliance.
  • Afterward, continue your journey to Mongla, the gateway to the Sundarbans.
  • Board your boat here and begin your adventure into the heart of this majestic forest. Overnight stay on the boat.

Day 02

Cruising Through the Sundarbans

  • Spend the day cruising through the Sundarbans, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that spans over 10,000 sq km.
  • As you navigate through the maze of rivers and dense mangroves, keep your eyes open for a variety of wildlife, including the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger, spotted deer, crocodiles, and various bird species.
  • This is an incredible opportunity to witness the raw beauty of one of the most ecologically significant areas in the world. Overnight stay on the boat.

Canal Boat Ride, Return to Mongla, and Drive to Khulna

  • Begin the day with a peaceful small boat ride along narrow canals, offering a closer look at the local wildlife and serene landscapes.
  • Afterward, sail back to Mongla. During your long cruise, observe the daily lives of the local fishermen and witness traditional fishing practices that have been passed down through generations.

Khulna to Dhaka
