Day 01

Arrival in Dhaka and Departure for the Sundarbans

  • Our guide will meet you inside the airport after immigration and take you to your hotel by an AC car.
  • At night, we will depart for the Sundarbans by AC bus. (L/D)

Day 02

Journey into the Sundarbans Mangrove Forest

  • Explore the Sundarbans - the largest mangrove forest on our planet and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Our cabin boat will depart from the bus stop at 7:00 AM, starting your journey into the Sundarbans.
  • The boat will take you through Dair Gang, Firingir Char, Kachikata, Atharo Beki, Lotabeki, and Maniker Char before arriving at Haldibunia Forest Camp, where you will spend the night on the cabin boat. (B/L/D)

Day 03

Wildlife Canals and Return Toward Dhaka

  • In the morning, the journey will begin towards Kalinchi, passing through Khejur Dana, Pani Khali, Pagra Tali, and Meter Gang, eventually reaching Kalinchi. From here, we will leave for Dhaka.
  • To access the remote areas of the canals, you will board a smaller boat. The boatman will row deep into the canals to get closer to the wildlife.
  • You may even witness the remarkable movements of tigers if you're lucky! (B/L/D)
  • Note:
    • Always be compassionate toward wildlife during the trip.
    • As the mangrove forest is our protector and asset, we must always be mindful of its preservation.
    • We must also ensure the cleanliness of the Sundarbans environment at all times.

Day 04

Heritage Walk Through Old Dhaka

  • Our guide will pick you up from your hotel at 08:00 and take you to Old Dhaka by an AC car.
  • On the way, you will see the National Assembly Building (Parliament Building), one of the largest legislative buildings in the world, designed by the world-famous US architect Louis Kahn.
  • Then the guide will take you to Shaheed Minar, a national monument in Dhaka, Bangladesh, established to commemorate those who were martyred during the Bengali Language Movement in 1952.
  • After that, you will visit Dhakeswari Temple, the national Hindu temple in Bangladesh.
  • You will then visit Star Mosque and Lalbagh Fort. After enjoying the mesmerizing beauty of Lalbagh Fort, you will walk through the streets of Chawk Bazar and see the Shahi Mosque.
  • Moreover, while walking through the streets, you will get the chance to capture excellent Old Dhaka-style photographs.
  • You will have lunch at 14:00 at Beauty Boarding, a British-made restaurant in Old Dhaka, or you can have biryani for lunch, which is the famous food of Old Dhaka.
  • Next is Ahsan Manzil (Pink Palace), a beautiful and well-maintained palace from the colonial period that was home to the most influential family in Dhaka.
  • On your way to the next destination, you will visit the Armenian Church, which is one of the oldest churches in Dhaka.
  • After that, you will visit Hindu Street (Shankhari Bazar), a narrow colourful road with different sweet shops, jewellery shops, local musical instrument shops, and many Hindu temples.
  • Following that, you will visit Sadarghat River Station, the main river port of Dhaka city.
  • People from all over the country use this terminal for river journeys.
  • You can roam around different shopping malls and do some shopping if you want. (B/L/D)

Day 05

Departure from Dhaka

  • Our guide will pick you up from your hotel or residence in the early morning after check-out and transfer you to Dhaka International Airport, where you will say goodbye to Bangladesh.
