Description
Explore the natural and cultural wealth of Baku as you visit stunning sites such as the Gosha Gala Gates, Maiden Tower, Icheri Sheher, Yay Gallery, Heydar Aliyev Centre, Palace of the Shirvan Shahs. Learn about the past of the country at the National Museum of Arts of Azerbaijan, Museum of Modern Art, and History Museum. Also, pay a visit to the Ateshgah temple and Yanar Dag mountain.

Day 1: Travel to Baku
In the morning at 10:00 am start with a nice and tasty breakfast, to build up enough energy before a long walk.
Enter the fortress of the old City through the Gosha Gala Gates. At the entrance, you will find a tiny restaurant, called Mangal where you will get real Azerbaijani traditional cuisine.
Continue the journey to Maiden Tower and Icheri Sheher (old city) at 11:00 am. The main symbol of ancient Baku is a mysterious tower. Your guide will show you every corner of this tower and help you get into the spirit of the old times.
Travel around (12:30 pm) authentic streets, historic walls, and souvenir shops, covered with a multitude of colourful stuff and of course the quaint colourful sellers. Here, you will find handmade articles and goods, beautiful silk scarfs, kerchiefs, and neckpieces, as well as Azerbaijani national headdress kelaghayi, small city symbols and statues, bijouterie made of natural stones, and even traditional craft made of natural wool, such as Papakha hats, special bags and much more.
Lunch at 13:15 pm with traditional dishes like kebabs, Lula kebabs, Qutab with greens, meat and pumpkin, mangal salad, and many more.
Pay a visit to Yay Gallery at 14:30 pm and learn about the modern arts of Azerbaijan.
Head towards Fountain Square at 15:15 pm and stroll to famous Nizami Street where you will find multiple boutiques, coffee shops, burger places, and restaurants.
Walk through the iconic Heydar Aliyev Centre at 16:15 pm. In this complex, you will see the auditorium, exhibition halls, and cafes.
After you have a tasty dinner, walk over the central street and enter Kefli Local Wine and Snack restaurant to taste some local wine. And if it’s Friday, then you should definitely visit the Hashtag Cocktail Bar and get a couple of unique cocktails in an original serving.

Day 2: Explore National Museum of Arts Azerbaijan and Carpet Museum
Start your journey at 11:00 am from the astonishingly beautiful the Palace of the Shirvanshahs. This complex contains the main building of the palace, Divanhane, burial vaults, and mosque, as well as a bathhouse and mausoleum of royal scientist Seyid Yahya Bakuvi.
Visit the National Museum of Arts of Azerbaijan at 12:00 pm. Inside, you can enjoy viewing pieces of art created not only by national artists but also by authors from Russia, the Near East, and Europe.
Head towards the Little Venice at 13:00 pm consists of several channels, where gondolas and gondoliers sail between the small bridges and invite the guests to a romantic journey.
Lunch to the restaurants near Bibi Heybat, famous for their tasty dishes, made of perch, carp, mullet, kutum, and others.
Drive down to the city center at 15:30 pm and walk around the New Boulevard.
Visit Yarat Contemporary Arts Center combines the constant exposition, platforms for modern exhibitions, and auditoriums for educational programs.
Explore the amazing Baku Ferris Wheel at 16:40 pm one of the favourite entertainments of the local residents. Its height reaches 60 meters and you can find it at the part of the boulevard close to the National Flag Square.
Visit the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum at 17:20 pm, engaged in the collection, preservation, and studying of the carpets. The museum fund contains more than 14 thousand showpieces.

Day 3: Travel to History Museum and Nagorny Park
Walk around the city at 12:20 pm and get insights into the architectural history of Baku. All you need to do is pay a little more attention, look around, keep your head up and look onto the roofs, as well as notice writings on the street doors.
Lunch around 14:00 pm. Pilaf is a traditional royal Azerbaijani meal infused with a medley of local aromas.
Pay a visit to the History Museum around 15:30 pm. All four facades of this noble mansion and the giant domes on its roof will attract your attention even from a distance.
Marvel at the shore of the Caspian Sea without leaving the city center. The boulevard has various attractions, cozy cafes, colorful tea houses, and fast food. A fairytale train, which cruises all over the boulevard, will take you from one side of this enormous park to another.
You can also have a nice and pleasant ride at 19:30 pm from the boulevard and the Nefchilar avenue up to Nagorny Park. The funicular will take you all the way up within about 4 minutes, and the waiting time is about 10 minutes.
Reach Nagorny Park to witness an amazing view of the city. The sightseeing platform of Uphill Park is the highest point of Baku, from where you can see a beautiful panoramic view of the city and the bay.

Day 4: Visit to Ateshgah temple and Yanar Dag
Visit Ateshgah temple at 11:30 am is located about 30 kilometres from Baku town, on the outskirts of Surakhani village
Head towards Yanar Dag mountain at 13:30 pm one of the most amazing natural monuments of the Absheron peninsula.
Have your lunch at 15:30 pm.
Visit the traditional local market (bazaar) at 17:30 pm. Here you’ll find tons of homemade jam, made of watermelon, walnuts, berries, etc, as well as the freshest fruits, vegetables, pickles, and most importantly a big share of great mood. Don’t miss out on a chance to immerse yourself in the authentic world of Baku residents.
