Itinerary
-
Baku, Qabala & Shaki
Pick up from your hotel by your Azerbaijani tour guide. Then, begin the tour and stop at Gabala (Qabala).
After Gabala, go to the Palace of Shaki Khans and take some awesome photos.
Explore the Albanian Church of Kish. The Church of Kish, also known as the Church of Saint Elishe, is an inactive 12th or 13th-century Caucasian Albanian church located in the village of Kiş approximately 5 km north of Shaki.
See the Caravanserai. Swift development of trade in the Middle Ages enhanced the importance of caravanserai existing in Azerbaijan's territory and favoured the construction of new ones. Generally, caravanserai was a built-in form of castles with one gate, closing of which made them impregnable during dangerous incidents.
