Description
Travel 60 km (40 mi) on a comfortable minibus to visit the first theme park in the Americas, which inspired Walt Disney to build Disneyland, founded in 1951, in a large area of 53 hectares. Considered the largest children's enterprise in Latin America and the first theme park in America (the whole American continent), the Children's Republic was founded in 1951 with a dual purpose: creative recreation in a world of dreams and stories linked to childhood and learning to exercise rights and obligations that citizens possess in any democratic country. In those years, Walt Disney visited the place, and it is believed that, surprised by so much beauty, he was inspired to later build Disneyland in California.
We will be touring the Republic, seeing the houses and castles, visiting the lake and a farm with typical Argentine animals, and enjoying the contact with nature offered by the wide space (53 landscaped hectares). The visit allows you to recognize the history of the Children's Republic, its founding objectives and the functioning of its buildings. We will also be able to enter the Museum of the Dolls, formed mainly with dolls from different countries, which show their customs and their typical clothes. On weekends and holidays, the Park offers artistic shows. And of course, we will find a sector to enjoy the attractions and mechanical games.
