Description
Private tour on a comfortable minibus to the Gaucho culture's most representative town, San Antonio de Areco, 115 km (70 miles) from Buenos Aires City. A town with a peaceful atmosphere, picturesque colonial streets, and old houses of colonial architecture, where you can still see real gauchos (Argentine cowboys) riding on their horses across this little town.
The town dates from the early 18th century and preserves many traditions of the gaucho (Argentine cowboy) and criollo (people of pure Spanish descent born in the New World), especially among its artisans, who produce fine silverwork and saddlery.
It is possible to come across countless regional workshops and shops selling silverware, rope and leather crafts, where the ancient art of making crafts in leather and precious metals is both learnt and performed.

Trip To Gaucho Town

- Travel to San Antonio de Areco town.
- Visit the town and its main historic square, "Plaza Ruiz de Arellano."
