Description
Embark on a 6-hour journey from Ushuaia, traversing 20 kilometres along National Route N°3 to the Tierra Mayor Valley. Trek 10 10-kilometre round trip through lenga forests and peat bogs to reach the stunning Laguna Esmeralda, set at the base of the Ojo del Albino glacier. Conclude with a comfortable vehicle ride back to your city accommodations.

Trekking Laguna Esmeralda
- Leaving the hotel, we head towards the north of the city of Ushuaia along National Route N°3 for 20 km, crossing incredible landscapes to the base of operations, where we begin the trek, which is 10 km in total round trip.
- The route takes us into the Tierra Mayor Valley, crossing lenga forests and peat bogs until the final ascent that culminates in Laguna Esmeralda.
- This water mirror of a wonderful color is at the base of the Ojo del Albino glacier, whose melting creates it.
- After having lunch and resting, we returned to the base of operations, finished the trek, and returned by vehicle to the accommodations in the city.
