Description
Join us for Asado, a socio-cultural event handed down from generation to generation in Buenos Aires, where families and friends all get together to cook and have the delicious food they make. Prepare chimichurri and put together the salad in your Palermo Soho guide cum chef's home, which was originally built in 1890 as a bakery. Stroll through the neighbourhood's street and enjoy a warm, heartful meal!
Itinerary
-
Enjoy Asado in Palermo Soho
- Meet your host upon arriving at your Palermo Soho hosts' home. They will show you how to light the grill. You will prepare the chimichurri and help put the salad together.
- Head out towards the local butcher. En route, admire street art and learn about the neighbourhood's history.
- Visit a wine shop and bakery to get some exquisite wine and bread to enjoy over dinner.
- Have a snack of dry-aged salami, pickles, some local cheese, and Argentina's most famous cocktail, the Fernandito (Fernet and Coke), upon returning.
- Finish putting the salad together and head out to the back of the house, where our grill master is tending to the fire and the meat. We go over to see how he has organized the grill, and then we sit down to eat a delicious meal over the hearty conversation.
