I run yacht-based ski mountaineering, mountaineering, and sea kayaking expeditions to Antarctica.In addition, I am a freelance expedition leader, field guide, and lecturer (polar history, photography, biology, and geology) in the Arctic and Antarctic for a number of the major expedition ship operators.I have been leading mountaineering and ski mountaineering expeditions to the greater ranges since 1992, and to Antarctica since 1997, and have made the first ascents and ski descents of over 20 Antarctic mountains.
