Depart from Yerevan with your Armenia tour driver.
Stop at Voghjaberd village near Charents arch for photos. In good weather, it offers an incredible view of Mount Ararat.
Visit the pagan temple of Garni. It is the only Hellenistic colonnaded building in Armenia, built by King Tiridates I in the second half of the 2nd century AD (77 AD) as a temple to the Sun God, Mithra (known as Mihr in Armenian). It also offers a magnificent view of the river Azat and Garni Gorge.
Participate in baking Armenian traditional bread 'lavash' in tandoor.
Head to Geghard Medieval Monastery. This monastery is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the most popular places in Armenia. At the entrance, one can see local women selling candies, homemade food, and Geghard gata.
Return to Yerevan.
