Description
Embark on a tour from Yerevan and make your first stop at the Khor Virap Monastery. Continue to Areni, which is best known for its local wine production. Stroll through the Jermuk Mineral Water Gallery, after which you can also ride in a ropeway before returning to Yerevan.

Yerevan - Khor Virap - Areni - Jermuk - Yerevan
- Departure from Yerevan at 8:30.
- Visit Khor Virap Monastery at 9:30. Khor Virap's notability as a monastery and pilgrimage site is attributed to the fact that Gregory the Illuminator was initially imprisoned here for about 14 years by King Tiridates III of Armenia.
- 11:50: Reach Areni. Areni is best known for its wine production, with most of wine produced locally from the nearby village of Getap.
- 12:45: See Areni.
- 14:10: Have a meal at Yeghegnadzor food court.
- 15:50: Have a promenade at Jermuk Mineral Water Gallery, "Mermaid Hair". Jermuk is known for its bottled hot springs and mineral water brands in the town. It is attractive for its fresh air, waterfall, artificial lakes, walking trails, surrounding forests and mineral water pools.
- Optional ropeway.
- 19:00 - 19:30: Move to Yerevan.
