Itinerary

1. Day 1: Yerevan-Matenadaran-Garni-Geghard-Yerevan

   • Have lunch in Garni Gorge, light fire and everyone makes their own barbecue.

   • On the way back from Geghard, take part in the famous Armenian bread (Lavash) making process.

2. Day 2: Yerevan-Khor Virap-Areni-Noravank-Yerevan

   • In Areni, visit the Reni Wine Factory and do some degustation of grape, cherry, apricot, and pomegranate wines.

   • Go to the oldest winery in the Areni caves (3500 BC) with an Armenian guide.

   • Have lunch in the caves on the way to Noravank.

   • Taste Armenian kebab made on tandoor and have Armenian Dolma.

3. Day 3: Yerevan-Ohanavan-Saghmosavan-Amberd Fortress-Kari

   • Have a late lunch at a restaurant near Kari Lake.
   • Taste the traditionally prepared Armenian Khash.

4. Day 4: Yerevan-Sevanavank-Yerevan-Vernissage

   • Have lunch on the shore of Lake Sevan. 
   • Taste the famous Armenian Ishkhan (Forel).

5. Day 5: Yerevan-Ejmiatsin-Hripsime-Zvartnots-Yerevan

   • Relish lunch in a traditional Armenian restaurant near Ejmiatsin. 
   • Taste the Armenian Khashlama (Lamb souse).

6. Day 6: Yerevan-Sanahin-Haghpat-Akhtala-Yerevan

   • Enjoy lunch on the way to Sanahin at a local restaurant. 
   • Taste fish from river Debed and try the North Armenian barbeque.

7. Day 7: Yerevan City Tour

   • Visit the Yerevan Genocide Memorial, Ararat Brandy Factory, Cascade Complex and the North Avenue. 

   • Savour lunch at Caucas Pandok, a Traditional Armenian Restaurant.

   • Eat dinner in a village with live traditional music.
