Itinerary

1. Trip to Berat

   • Meeting point: Opera Palace Tirana City Center (your location will have an extra payment).
   • Departure at 9:00 from Tirana to Berat.
   • On the way, we will have a quick stop in Belsh Town (Belshi Lake): Belsh is the center of historic Dumrea. This area is known as one of the most beautiful pearls of the Mediterranean. Belshi also has a model culture house for the development of various activities, starting with summer day, which is a tradition for the Elbasan area, and many other holidays. It is the lake with the most populated area around it, therefore a stop here is inevitable, to visit on this occasion and the changes that happened in Belsh. A walk along the modern promenade, or a stop near a cafe or restaurant, will enable you to enjoy the lake panorama differently.
   • After visiting the city of Belsh, we head towards the city of Berat: Around noon, we reach the city of Berat - Berat is called differently and like the city of one-over-one windows. The Berat Castle is built on a hill 187 meters high, to the left of the mouth of the Osum River. Initially a proto-urban settlement, in the 7th-5th century BC, as an important strategic point, it was transformed into a fortress city with walls reaching up to 1,400 meters in length and an area of 10 h. One of the most beautiful, largest, and most important monuments of Albanian history and culture is undoubtedly the Berat Castle. With its prominent triangular shape, it rises on a 187 m high hill, which is located on the right bank of the Osum River, dominating its valley.
   • After the visit to the Berat Castle, we will spend some time on Berat Avenue and have lunch there.
   • Around 5 pm will depart from there and at 7 pm will reach Tirana and conclude our trip.
