i am pleased to tell you about me, your next tour guide to the lovely twin-island paradise of antigua & barbuda.  i currently do freelance work with [sensitive content] and tropical adventures (antigua).i conduct shore excursions with cruise passengers but my intention is to also cater to the needs of land-based visitors. as a literary enthusiast with a solid background in teaching (over 20 years expereince), tour guiding has become second nature!  my flair for both  the written and spoken word and my insatiable thirst for  knowledge/adventure allows me to cleverly combine storytelling with information dissemination.

i have expressly designed my tours to take you away from that 'general tourist gaze' ( passively observing and contemplating) to being actively engaged in the culturescape. i do not bombard my visitors with an onslaught of facts but allow them to make inferences and draw parallels as, together, we get swept away by powerful historical currents and into fascinating worlds of  intrigue!
