Itinerary
-
Explore the Beauty of Andorra
- Meet the tour guide at your hotel (or the agreed meeting point) and start walking to the old district, starting at Príncep Benlloch Square, where the city hall watches the most relevant buildings in the area.
- Have a look at Saint Steven's church, both XII century romanesque part and the new nave built in 1945.
- Walk along narrow streets until reaching the Busquets family's former private house built in 1580 that became Andorran's Parliament seat in 1703; nowadays, a museum as a new parliament building was raised in 2013. Interesting sculptures located around will help us to learn and understand Andorran's history and institutions.
- Leave the old town and let's take a car to drive to Engolasters plateau in order to appreciate a wonderful view of the most populated valley from 1500 meters above sea level. Then, let's visit Saint Michael's church, a real romanesque jewel that will make us travel back to the past.
- Enjoy a healthy walk among pine trees, which will bring us to the beautiful lake of Engolasters, the only artificial one in the principality, located at 1620 meters altitude.
