My name is Ugur Develi.I am an experienced and licensed English speaking tour guide.I graduated from Marmara University, Department of English Language and Literature in Istanbul and I was licensed by Ministry of Tourism and Culture in 1989 as a Professional Tour Guide following a very intensive course lasting for 6 months in which we were educated in Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman history, architecture and culture together with the immense history of the ancient civilisation which used Asia Minor (Anatolia) as their homelands ranging From Urartian, Phrygians, Hittites, Ionians, Ephesians, Trojans and many more.I have been doing this profession as a full time job for the last 22 years.I am an expert in both Canakkale (known as Dardanelles by the foreigners) and in religious Tours like Jewish Heritages, Christians history in Asia Minor and Islamic World and its reflections in our homeland.I have also been running daily city tours in Istanbul and also the round trips in the country including Antalya (former name is Attelia), Pamukkale (Hierapolis), Cappadocia and Troy.The reason why I chose this profession is the joy and excitement of meeting new people and new cultures from different countries and giving insights about my country to them through the first mouth.So, if you would like to have an enjoyable and pleasant stay in Turkey, I am the right guide to satisfy all your needs and expectations throughout your stay in Turkey.Let's see and explore the beauties of this marvellous country together!
