Private Tour Guide In
Saint Petersburg

My name is Nadia.I come from St.Petersburg - it is my native city.It is the city of my parents and grandparents. Therefore it is more than just my home - it is my culture, my lifestyle, my character, that have been formed through the generations.I have always beenspiritually connected to St.Petersburg.

I never stop admiring its unique beauty: its magnificent and romantic rivers and canals, endless bridges, long and wide avenues decorated with elegant European style buildings, its treasures under the sky where every single stone and every house can tell its own story, where every palace still remembers its noble owners and the time of ceremonial receptions and luxurious balls.

Everything here has its own unique character.Whether you stroll along the main streets of the city or elegant granite embankments or walk around old mansions and palaces of the XVIII-XIX century you feel that everything has its own story to tell.St.Petersburg is the city where time has been trapped in the walls of museums, theatres, palaces, churches and cathedrals.

After graduating from the University of Foreign Languages, where I studied to be a professional interpreter and a linguist, I took a course in tour guiding and combined my knowledge of the language with the history of the city.I became a tour guide and never regretted it.

I’m constantly reading books on art and culture, researching the history of the city.I am always looking for new information, facts, myths and stories – everything that would unveil the whole city in front of me.

I’ve travelled a lot and lived abroad for some time – blending into local societies, learning their languages and cultures – it gave me a better understanding of my own culture, my world, my nature and definitely enhanced my experience and my life perception.
