Founded in 1525, Santa Marta holds the incredible distinction of being the oldest city in Colombia and the second oldest in all of South America. Santa Marta is home to rich archaeological sites that tell the history of the nearly 500 year-old city as well as its indigenous peoples.
A Santa Marta tour guide can take you to many of the amazing nature and wildlife locations the city has to offer.
