Established in 1986, Korup National Park is the single richest lowland parkside in Africa, covering 1260 sq km. It is situated in the South West Region of the country. More than 620 species of trees and shrubs and some giant trees as high as 50 metres are found here. Besides, there are more than 400 species of birds, 82 reptiles, 1000 butterflies, 180 fish, and 160 mammals. Visit to the local attractions such as Namata ledges, Mana suspension footbridge, Rengo Rock and Kumba is a must as it will leave you mesmerized with its scenic beauty.
Itinerary

Day 1: Buea to Mundemba
Depart Buea for Kumba, a 171km drive.
Stop at Kumba and take a car to Mundemba, 120km by Ekondo Titi and admire driving on this dense equatorial forest.
On arrival, check into a hotel and do all the necessary preparations at the Park office.
Book the tour at the park office.
After booking the tour, move to the park entrance.

Day 2: Namata ledges, Mana suspension footbridge & Rengo Rock
After breakfast at the hotel, join the rangers at the park entrance.
Travel to the Mana suspension footbridge (about 8km from the hotel) built with local bamboo and robes is 120m long and 1. 17m wide. This bridge is built on the river Mana, beside the Mana falls.
Trek under the canopied trees as high as 50m.
Relish the sight of small rivers, springs, wildlife and many more attractions.
Visit the Namata ledges and some nearby attractions.
Arrive at Chimpanzee camp where the camp is located (about 8.9km from the bridge).
Before nightfall, climb to the Rengo Rock which is the highest point in the park.
After a short time at the rock, return to the camp for supper.

Day 3: Back to Kumba
At 5.30 AM, prepare for breakfast and leave at 6.00 A.M for the Mana waterfall and other sites.
From the bridge, travel back to Mundemba town and before 1.00 P.M leave Mundemba for Kumba.
