I was in Dingle this weekend to visit a few local businesses. Lots of nice businesses and I hope I’m allowed to introduce a few that might be great stops for any tours or anyone visiting Dingle.
I met with Sean Daly in Dingle Crystal. They do free demonstrations and have a large car park for coaches.
They have toilet facilities, a small shop and coffee.
The new Dingle Crystal factory & Shop is open and they have plenty of room in their own private car park for large coaches , and they would enjoy giving any clients a tour of their new factory.
They do live demonstrations for up to 35 people at a time in the new factory, showing clients how crystal is made, and they also have a visitor centre.
They are just up the road from roundabout inside of Castlewood guest house (unit 4 baile na buaile Buisness park dingle). They are close to Dingle Distillery, who also do a great tour.
The Factory is located about 2km outside of Dingle Town and is right on the Slea Head drive.
The factory is open for group demonstrations and can cater for groups of up to 35 people. They also do smaller individual demonstrations.
Here is a short video of Sean's demonstration:

Dingle Distillery is also doing excellent tours.
The Dingle Distillery welcomes visitors to enjoy a tour of their distillery where the entire production process, for all products, is explained and a gin/vodka sample is provided. Our distillery tour will give you an introduction into Irish whiskey and into the Dingle Distillery.
Their first whiskey is now being sold and whiskey sampling will become available soon. Their gin won several prices.

Dick Mack’s Pub is fantastic for lunch or a few drinks.
Dick Mack's Pub was opened in 1899 by stationmaster Tom Mac Donnell. Today it is still serving drinks and leather works such as handmade leather belts.
