Had a great day out in the hills around Trefriw. The Active Terrain guides Barry,Simon & Eileen were friendly & informative. We had great weather and saw some fantastic scenery and our fellow walkers were a friendly crowd. We got to visit the oldest church in Wales where we had a picnic stop & were treated to a drop of Penderyn whisky & bara brith, courtesy of the A.T. team. We also visited two disused ore mines, crossed streams and saw waterfalls. This was a very relaxed & enjoyable way to spend an afternoon... Almost forgot to mention we ended the day at a local traditional pub for a great meal & a pint and chance to talk about the day. Would recommend this to anyone looking to discover the delights of the Snowdonia Area.
