Once the ceremonies begin, the following day, the Buddhist monks walk in a procession from Mendut Temple, passing towards the Pawon Temple and finally to the Borobudur Temple, where another ceremony is waiting to commemorate. Detail information about this great ceremony and packages are normaly issued one or two months before. While registration to be part of the ceremony is open one week before.
Advance reservation must be made to attend or having tours/trip during this period. Most hotels will be fully booked, so it is highly recommended to get the bookings done beforehand.
