Tanzania is one of the most popular travel destinations in Africa, and there are many attractions that abound this nation. From Wildlife, historic sites to colourful towns; Great lakes  like the Victoria Lake, Tanganyika to high mountains like Kilimanjaro 5895 mt and The Great Rift Valley; each and every corner and part has something to offer to a visitor who needs a break from the polluting and mechanical city life. 

To take forward the list, this land boasts of oceans like the Indian Ocean, cultural sites with more than 126 tribes, including the world reknowned Masai Tribe famous for its unique cultural values and natural lifestyle.

One can arrive here from any part of this country whether East or West or South or North. All sides are bound with facinating features and landscapes. East bound by the Indian Ocean, West bound by the Lake Tanganyika, North bound by the Serengeti National Park and Mt. Kilimanjaro and South bound by parks including Selous, Ruaha and Katavi.

The East also bound by the Famous Islands of Zanzibar and Pemba. The historic shores of the Indian ocean with many historic sites and towns like Bagamoyo, a famous slave trading center in the times of Slavery and  Saadani National Park.

Also other sites to visit are the Eastern Arc Ranges and historic town Lushoto. Here one can enjoy a good panorama of the highlands especially at Irente view point, and many more sites which are found here.

One can begin a travel at Dar es salaam and tour Dar and it sites , then move to Bagamoyp for overnight stay, from Bagamoyo one can visit the Saadani National Park, and from there travel to either Tanga or Lushoto. From Lushoto one can travel to Mkomazi National park for overnight stay. From  Mkomazi one can drive to Marangu a town in the base of  Mt kilimanjaro. Here it is recommended to have a minimum stay of two days to enable you see the Mountain, and visit attractions like the Kinukamori waterfalls, the Kilasia waterfall and if time allows, visit lake Chala and the Maji moto area in Rundugai. Kilimajaro has many attractions but worth visiting is Shira plateau and Ndarakwai.

Onwards one drive to Arusha, here there multiple Attractions and Parks. Arusha National park is worth visiting , the site for Colobus monkey and Mt Meru. One can do walking safaris in Arusha national park. Near Arusha one can visit Tarangire national park..Manyara National park, Ngorongoro Conservation area authority and Serengeti national Park.

Arusha National Park, the staring point to Climb Mt Meru. this parjk is good for Walking treks. And also famous for its black and white Colubus Monkey. Here one can sight some of the big Five. 

Tarangire National park is one of the best Elephant viewing sights in the Northern circuit , This park is famous for its large Herds of Elephants . Elephants can be esaily sighted near Tarangire river ,especially in hot afternoons, also near big swamps like Silale  Swamp and near lake Burunge , here high chances of sighting large herds are common. Also this Park has facinating Landscapes and many Bog Boabab trees. In this Park one can sight the Big five excluding the Rhino. the Park has many species of Birds. Best visited in the dry season.

Manyara National Park home of the tree climbing lions , this park is green throughout the year, due to ground water springs from Ngorongoro Highlands. one can sight some of the big five here. Also a good sighting for Flamingo during the dry season, and Migratory water birds during the wet season. A good sighting for bird watchers. Here one can also visit the Hot water Springs. there are many exitements in this Park. Bound by the Rift Valley wall (escarpment) on the North.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, the World Heritage Site and a natural World Wonder .this is a unique Site . Watching the Wildlife , Masai and Domestic herds sharing the area. It is a multipurpose land use area. This area encompasses three craters, Ngorongoro Crater the largest with a diameter of 29 kilometres, Empakai crater good for walking treks and Olomoti Crater. Also Lake Ndutu and Lake Masek famous dropping area for the wildbeest during Jan/Feb. Also in this area there are many Historic sites as Olduvai gorge, the cradle of Mankind, where the Fossil Zinjanthropus Boisel was found. Also historic site Laetoli is found in Ngorongoro. To visit this area in detail, one needs at least three days to cover all activities in this area. It is a home to more than 51 Rhinos and one of the areas that one has high chances of sighting all the Big Five and many more, Ndutu is also a good sighting area for Leopards and cheetahs.

Serengeti National Park, Serengeti a masai word, meaning endless plains.This is a very famous park, and a must to visit for all and known for its wildbeest migration. Bordering Masai Mara in the North, this is My Favourite Park and the park with high chances of sighting the Big Five. The Migration is seasonal and varies according to climatic conditons. One can get the exact positioning of the main herds with a google search. Daily migration tracking can be seen in the internet, the website 'Migration Tracker Daily' or 'Herdtrackers' is a company in Africa which direct tracks daily. Mara river crossings are facinating and occur at certain times in the year. Also projection of the movements are displayed in a moving model in the Herd Trackers module. This Park has a central corridor Seronera. Seronera is one of the best site for Leopards viewing. Also big prides of lions can be encountered in the Serengeti. Rhinos can be sighted in Moru and Kogatende. Serengeti has West corriodor, North Corridor, South corridor and East Corridor.
