Clients from UK, United States, Europe, Australia, or Asia are not sure what to expect?  Here are some insider suggestions to help make your South African Guiding Safari flawless.

This should be a must on your travel itinerary, that is a trip to the Kruger National Park. This park is nearly  2 million hectares big (roughly the size of Israel) and 1 or 2 days are not enough to explore the beauty or to see all the animals inside this park. The park crosses over two provinces, and the borders of Zimbabwe and Mozambique, and is about 360 km  from north to south.

The bush lands here are something to behold with it's diverse landscapes and accessibility to animals that are more magnificent in real life than your imagination manifested while growing up.

The Kruger National Park is full of animals, birds, and insects. Expect to see the Big Five, the Small 5, impalas, wild dogs, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, giraffes, buck, foxes, mongoose, warthogs and many more.

The park is only accessible from 10 main gates, which closes at around 5 pm daily. Driving through the park takes hours and sometimes days; on tar roads, the maximum speed is 50 km p/h and on gravel roads, the maximum speed is 40 km p/h.

There are over 20 rest camps, nearly 20 private game lodges, and a handful of bush camping grounds that are spread out across nearly 20,000 square km (7,500 square miles) located directly inside the park. This is not including the Greater Kruger private concessions.

Since looking at a map for every option can get overwhelming and trying to see it all is impossible with limited time and budget, it is advisable to plan well in advance and decide what all you would like to cover during your trip.

Like most cities, there are expensive and inexpensive areas, but at Kruger National Park, this has less to do with the quality or safety of the location and more to do with privacy.

So, go ahead and plan your next safari at the Kruger National Park!
