Whenever we ask any foreigner tourists about the places they have visited in Nepal, most of them say Pokhara. Blessed with abundant natural beauty, the Pokhara Valley stands at an elevation of 900 meters above sea level, and lies at a distance of around 200 km west of Kathmandu.
Pokhara is the second largest destination in Nepal after Kathmandu Valley. The city of several lakes and green hills offers picturesque view of snow- capped mountains in the northern horizon. However, the lake city is now gradually becoming renowned for a wide range of adventure activities it offers, such as trekking, mountaineering, kayaking, boating, and white water rafting.
Only the lucky few who get to attempt the aforementioned activities get to catch a glimpse of the towering Machapuchare as well as other mountains around the region.
The higher one flies, the colder and more thrilling it gets. Those flying at high altitudes can only describe in so many words what it feels like to fly amidst clouds.
So, whenever you are in Nepal, do visit Pokhara, and take the ultra light flight, the best option for experiencing closeness to mountains, and enjoying nature at it's best!
