I was pleasantly surprised when I visited the park on Sunday for the first time. It is very well designed and every section is different in vegetation and atmosphere. For the young ones there are a lot of educational info.
If you are staying in the Green Point / Sea Point / Mouille Point areas during your vacation it is highly recommended you visit the park at least once during your stay. The one entrance is opposite the Mouille Point Light House, one block away from the Main Road running along the coastline. The Park is also accessible from behind the Green Point Stadium along the Main Road from the City Center towards Sea Point.
The Park borders with the Metropolitan Golf Course on it’s northern side and this promotes a feeling of freedom within a busy city with lots of open space. A definite alternative to relax here or meet someone to talk with, than all the coffee shops & restaurants around.
