Besides sun and beautiful beaches, in Mexico we also have volcanoes and mountains. Let me introduce you to "El Nevado de Toluca".

The volcano is located about 112 km2 from Mexico City.

The highest summit is el Pico del Fraile (Friar's Peak) 4,680 metres (15,354 ft), on the southwest side of the crater and the second highest is el Pico del Aguila 4,640 metres (15,223 ft), on the northwest. There are two crater lakes on the floor of the basin at about 4,200 m (13,800 ft) and an unpaved road runs 2 km before the lakes.

The view is incredible, and if you're lucky you'll see the Iztacciuhualt and Popocatepetl's peaks.

Excellent physical fitness is not required, just bring some water and lunch for the hiking.

Good luck travelers!
