The Uzbek ethnic group is rightfully considered one of the most ancient on our planet. The unique culture of Uzbekistan began to take shape at the dawn of civilizations and has undergone significant changes over the millennia.

They are generous and friendly, gladly welcome guests into their home, carefully protect family values and have great respect for the traditions of their country. Not a single Uzbek celebration is complete without tasty treats. These are, first of all, national sweets (parvarda, halva, chak-chak) for children and delicious wine for adults. Our country not only has a rich cultural history. Since ancient times, Uzbekistan has occupied one of the leading places in world trade, because it was here that the Great Silk Road ran.

Once upon a time, the ancient Uzbek city of Samarkand was burned by the soldiers of Chinkhish Khan in response to the resistance of the townspeople. But after two or three centuries, the city was rebuilt. Another conqueror, Timur, appointed it as his capital.

I am proud of my homeland and respect the people living here. At one time, it took them a lot of strength to defend the independence of Uzbekistan, and now I am happy that I have the opportunity to live in such a beautiful and free country.
