From Keyafer to Tour Guide: A Journey of Passion and Dedication
I am a certified, young, and passionate outdoor enthusiast, whose journey began in the small town of Keyafer in the Omo Valley. As a teenager, I spent my days running after tourists, selling small souvenirs to support myself and my younger brother.
One day, fate intervened. While standing outside a hotel room, I was approached by an English-speaking local guide alongside a kind-hearted Dutch man. Though hesitant at first, I slowly stepped forward—a moment that would change my life forever.
A Life Transformed
Thanks to the generosity of my Dutch sponsor, my brother and I were taken to Addis Ababa to receive a better education. I completed high school and pursued a vocational diploma specializing in:
Tour Services
Tour Guiding
Tour Operations and Management
Determined to further my expertise, I continued my studies and earned a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Hotel Management.
A Passion for Travel and Culture
Now a responsible, caring, and dedicated tour guide, I take great pride in offering my clients memorable and immersive travel experiences. My first-hand exposure to different cultures—including living with a Westerner—has strengthened my ability to connect with travelers from around the world, giving me valuable insights into their expectations and interests.
I work hard to ensure that every tour is not just a trip, but an unforgettable journey—one that is truly worth every penny.
