Mr. Gopal Shrestha, Managing Director of Himalayan Nepal Trek, has been involved in trekking dating back to 1984 where he started as a porter, porter guide, assistant guide and finally in 1995 as guide for the Civil Aviation Ministry of Tourism Board. He has also operated as cook to mountaineering groups. He is intimately familiar with all the famous destinations of Nepal such as Everest, Annapurna, Mustang, Manaslu, Kanchenjunga, Langtang and Helambu as well as Mount Kailash Tibet.
