If you are seeking for the tranquil environment and a chance to explore the world’s superlative mountains, then Trekking in Nepal is the best option. Recently I accompanied a group of professors from Australia for trekking in Everest Base Camp. I was associated with Nepal Intrepid Treks and Expedition Pvt. as a website content writer.
The journey was full of fun and adventure. I was aware of the fact that Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla is the most extreme airport of the world. During the flight time, I was observing everyone’s face. All the passengers on board were anxious, thrilled and scared. The amazing landscapes were trying to divert attention, however, you will be relieved once you land in the airport. Once landed, the scenery of Khumbu region will make you forget all the drabness of the routine life. The journey then headed towards Phakding. I realized how much the trekking guides and trekking agencies of Nepal work towards satisfying the guests. The excellent briefing given by a trekking leader was captivating. Government of Nepal should act rationally towards achieving the favourable environment for the tourism industry booming in Nepal.
Once we reached the Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa community dazzled us; the beautiful landscapes of the market seems so spectacular! Khumjung Village presented the best moment to learn and understand the Sherpa culture and traditions. The highest located hotel of the world - The Everest View Hotel, is the most liked place. The scenes of the Thamserku, Amadablam, Choyou, Lhotse, Cholatse, Everest and other Khumbu Himalayan range attracts all the trekkers.
Unfortunately I couldn’t move higher towards Everest Base Camp because I got fever. The rest of the crew shared great experiences of trekking once I reunited with them while returning back. During my stay in Namche, I visited many Sherpa villages nearby which I will post in my other blog posts. Explore Nepal and feel the mountain madness up in the himalayas.
