Overview
Ibanda-Kyerwa National Park is the national park located in Kagera region, Tanzania and has an area of 200 square kilometres (77sqmi). Animals found in this national park include hippos, antelopes, Thomson gazelles, impalas, elands, baboons, to mention but a few. The park can be easily reached by flight from Dar es Salaam Airport to Bukoba Airport and then by road from Bukoba town to the park.
Location
This Ibanda-Kyerwa National Park is situated on the eastern bank of Kagera River and this river is a natural boundary border between Tanzania and Rwanda.

The temperature of ranges between 13°C to 41°C depending on the area elevation.
Rainfall:
Rain seasons is between January to April. This is a wonderful time for birdlife watchers although accessibility through most of the roads becomes impossible because of heavy rains.
