From the Egyptian border (Taba)
Take city bus no. 15 from the border crossing to the city of Eilat. From there a bus will take you to Jerusalem (65 Shekel). It's a 4 and half hours ride. Ask the driver to drop you off at Damascus Gate.

When you get out of the Immigration Center, yellow minibuses are waiting and will take you to Jerusalem for about 15 Shekel in less then an hour. From the drop-off point in Jerusalem it is possible to walk to Damascus Gate, if you are tired and heavily loaded you may also take a cab.
