Bonefish Linda,
The first and only female fisherwoman in the Bahamas, Bonefish Linda, grew up in Coakley Bight, Andros Island. As a young girl raised on the island, fishing and the love for nature came naturally. By the time Linda turned 20 years old, she had met the Legendary “Bonefish Simon “, best known as The Bahamas 2 Time Bone-fishing Champion; Bonefish Simon and Linda became a duo in the fishing industry. Linda initially was the personal secretary for the Fishing Champ; after seeing how happy the clients were after coming back from a day and on the water it led to Linda going on the flats with Bonefish Simon. At this time, “BoneFish Linda” was born. She learned to sport for the grey ghost of the flats now. As the Bonefish, she learned from the greatest how to use a fly rod; she took pride and realized how powerful a fly rod was. Bonefish Linda takes on pleasing her clients with hospitality and making sure that each and every client has a great day on the waters. The goal is to show the world that women can also be Fishing instructors and to continue making fly fishing an enjoyable experience.
