The Fishing Tour presents an exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in one of the world's most pristine and relatively untouched fishing locales. This unique experience allows you to explore Bhutan's crystal-clear, glacier-fed rivers, offering a rare chance to fish in an environment that remains largely undiscovered.

Angling in Bhutan is a true adventure, where you can cast your line in serene waters teeming with native species. The snow trout, a member of the carp family, and the brown trout, which has thrived since its introduction several decades ago, are the primary catches. The optimal fishing seasons are during spring, from March to May, and autumn, from September to November, when the conditions are ideal for a rewarding fishing experience.

The Fishing Tour is designed to provide a comprehensive experience, combining cultural exploration of Western Bhutan with access to some of the country’s finest fishing spots. You will have the opportunity to fish in three notable rivers: the Paro, Haa, and Thimphu Rivers. Each river offers a distinct setting and fishing experience, ensuring a diverse and fulfilling adventure. However, if you wish to make it "solely a fishing tour ", that will be done as well. A mixture of cultural tours is our recommendation, keeping in mind that Bhutan is not cheap for most tourists.

Our company will take care of all logistical arrangements, including obtaining the necessary fishing permits as required by Bhutanese law. This ensures that your fishing activities are compliant with local regulations, allowing you to focus entirely on enjoying the exceptional fishing and cultural experiences Bhutan has to offer.

This offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore one of the world's last great undiscovered fishing destinations. Experience the thrill of fishing in Bhutan's pristine, glacier-fed rivers, where the waters remain largely uncharted and beautifully clear.

Note:
Please note that this is targeted for general audience however if you wish to make your fishing tour a special one we can arrange that too.
