We have planned a trip to the safari park last year, but because of our busy lives, it is always delayed. I am busy on the island of Java with my traveling activities, and my friend in Beijing is busy with her company. We agreed to promise each other to meet in Jakarta and temporarily forget our respective activities.
It all started with the request of one of my friends who live in Beijing, who always traveled abroad and always visited zoos in all parts of the country, almost all of the zoos in Asia and Europe she had visited, but in Indonesia, she had never visited a zoo.
On Thursday, we meet in Jakarta, after breakfast around six in the morning we headed to the safari park using my private car. The trip was quite smooth, as there was no traffic because we had planned as early as possible to avoid city traffic. We arrived early at the safari park so that we can be satisfied when exploring this 168 hectare park,
We were almost there, marked by many road vendors selling carrots for animal food at the Safari Park. I decided to buy as many as seven bunches of carrots. Right at eight in the morning, we arrived right at the gate of the safari park, but the entrance to the safari park gate was not yet opened. We arrived thirty minutes early because the safari park is open at eight thirty minutes in the morning.
The atmosphere of the mountains and tropical rainforest makes us very relaxed as the air is clean, the sounds of animals such as Javan gibbons and langurs and birds make my friends very surprised and attract their attention. My friend asked me, whether we are in the city, or in the forest or mountainous region. I answered that the location of this safari park is in a park in the tropical rainforest of the volcanic mountain area of the Gede Pangrango West Java. Because it was still thirty minutes, we tried to walk to enjoy the natural beauty of this mountain which is at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level.
The time showed eight thirty and the entrance was opened. Then we paid for the ticket, and the adventure began. We entered the safari park area using a private car, at first we thought we wanted to tour around the Safari Park using the bus provided by the safari park because you can get an explanation from the tour guide. But finally, we decided to take my own private car because if we go around using a tourist bus we cannot feed animals released freely in the Safari Park Area. We want to feel the sensation of giving food directly to animals. The food is in the form of carrots that we have bought on the street before going to the Safari Park location.
We then explored safari parks. The animals are just released as in the wild, a very unique experience. We feed elephants, deer, hippos, African bulls, wild the beast, ostriches, giraffes and tame animal eaters of other plants, from the car and from a very close distance, and we immediately took a photo session with animals. But when we are in the area of wild animals, tigers, lions, bears, we must immediately close the window. For about two hours, we are treated to the beauty of nature and attractions in the habitat of tame and wild animals such as tigers, lions, dragons, bears and crocodiles, from the car or opening doors or windows at close range. and take pictures with the camera we carry.
After finishing exploring the safari park in the wild, I went to the parking area to see what else we could do. Our adventure is not over, as there are still panda castles that we will visit, as well as nine educational shows, and twenty-four rides that we have to try. Woooww, it doesn't feel like three hours here and there is still a lot to be explored.
