Garmeh is a village in Isfahan province, 350 km far from Isfahan city and is located on the Silk Road. It is an oasis in the middle of nowhere that attracts many tourists from all over the world. The height of this village is 750 metres above the sea level and its climate is dry and warm. This village has many springs, which originate from the hearts of the mountains. Another beautiful part of this village is the wetland that appears because of the spring enclosed by palm trees. Around this village, there are deserts and fields and several groups of camels live there. The houses in Garmeh are located on the Khareh Hills with beautiful view of big gardens of palm trees. Garmeh people speak Pahlavi language- the original and the oldest Iranian language. During spring, autumn and winter, the weather is perfect and it is a good time to travel to this area. There is also a very old four-storied castle, which belongs to the Sassanid era. The mountain ponds in Garmeh are full of ducks during the winter and spring and the surrounding hills are full of partridges. There is also a warm mineral spring around the village, which has therapeutic properties.
