Near Sardasht, there is an amazing spring located in green plains. The water of spring includes a high mineral content, so it gets solidified to stone with time. Minerals' density is around 1 gram per litre. Some springs found in Iran make small pools on different levels like stairs, but 'Kani Grawan' changes to stone in a different way as if it is building a colourful bridge. The water, after coming out of the earth, divides into several branches and every branch falls from different parts of the wall, colouring the wall eventually. The water then joins the river that flows down the spring.

The mineral water has therapeutic and bio-physiological attributes and is found helpful in treating skin diseases. The tourists go there with two purposes- hydrotherapy and enjoying the natural landscape. The water is salty and undrinkable, but a spring with fresh water can be found near this spring. As the spring is located in a green plain with a river and gardens around it, it is good to visit this place in all seasons. But in the spring, everything gets covered with yellow and red flowers and so, it is the best season to visit 'Kani Grawan'. There is a beautiful waterfall 'Shalmash' that is very near to this spring and can be visited.
