With its rich history and culture and beautiful nature, Iran has become a country with many valuable tourist attractions

Geography of Iran, the 16th largest country in the world, is located in the southwest of the Asian continent and is among the countries of the Middle East. Iran is bordered by the Republic of Turkmenistan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan and Armenia to the north, Turkey and Iraq to the west, Pakistan and Afghanistan to the east, and the south is bordered by the Persian Gulf.

Desert and semi-desert areas occupy nearly half of the country's area. About one third of Iran is mountainous and north of the country locating the Alborz Mountains and the Caspian Sea are totally green having a lot of wonderful landscapes. Iran has a high climate diversity in such a way that from the north to the south of the country, we gradually encounter different climate zones

Iran, a country with four diverse climates that such a diversity makes you enjoy traveling to this country all year round.

Despite the historical changes they have experienced throughout history, Iranians have maintained their deep connection with the past. Native art, literature and architecture, beautiful tiling and decorative motifs of this country are reminders of the deep national tradition and broader literary culture. Iran has hosted various religions and rituals for many years, and this has made it a rich country in ancient monuments.

Having a very diverse nature and architecture, Iran currently ranks 10th with 27 works registered in the World Cultural Heritage List. Some of Iran's historical works and places date back to 4000 BC.
